When I spoke with Hilton I was told my reservation had already been cancelled by customer service and that I was charged a late cancellation fee. I verified I would not be charged a cancellation fee because I was only trying to move hotel locations to be closer to the new wedding venue. I was told by Delta customer service (I booked it through them on my Skymiles card) that a supervisor with Hilton explained I needed to cancel my reservation and to call the hotel directly to rebook, that they were unable to change locations. I attempted to transfer my booking from one Hampton Inn to another closer to the new venue. I booked a stay for a wedding a few months out, unfortunately the wedding venue had a large fire and venues had to change.
